What we built for ourselves

Two platforms. The first runs in production with paying restaurants on it. The second is still being written. Both funded out of our own pocket.

OrdResto

Live

Online ordering for independent restaurants

A restaurant selling through Uber Eats or Deliveroo hands over 25 to 30% commission on every order. OrdResto gives it a sales channel of its own: a branded ordering site, a chatbot on Instagram and WhatsApp, driver management, replies to Google reviews. One subscription for the lot.

  • Delivery, takeaway and dine-in through a QR code
  • Stripe payments and an app installable on phones
  • Ordering chatbot in 11 languages on social channels
  • GPS-based job assignment and automated driver payouts
  • Google Business Profile management and review replies

Docelya

In development

Patient reception for medical practices

A practice spends the day choosing between answering the phone during a consultation and not answering at all. Docelya takes several patients at the same time, so nobody waits for a line to free up. Calls, arrivals and the waiting room all feed the same calendar. It supports the front desk, it does not replace it.

  • Several patients received at the same time, none waiting for a free line
  • Appointments written straight into the practice calendar
  • Confirmations and reminders on every channel
  • Arrival registered by a scan on site, nothing for the patient to print
  • No diagnosis, no triage, no assessment of urgency
  • Healthcare GDPR constraints handled from the design stage
  • Voice AI
  • NLP
  • Calendars
  • Check-in kiosk
  • Healthcare GDPR

03 Method

Four steps, nothing more

The same sequence we apply to our own products.

  • 01

    Understand

A call to pin down the need, the constraints and the budget. We say plainly if the project looks badly set up or if somebody else is better placed.

  • 02

    Scope

A written proposal: scope, architecture, phases, timing, price. You know what you are buying before you sign.

  • 03

    Build

Short iterations, a permanent test environment, a weekly check-in. If an assumption moves, you hear about it that week.

  • 04

    Hand over

Release, monitoring, documentation, transfer. You have to be able to carry on without us.

04 Company

A product studio, not an agency

KubeOptix is a Brussels company. We started by building our own platforms rather than selling time, which meant two years funding development without invoicing anyone.

That period taught us things no client project teaches. What technical debt costs once you keep it. What an unprepared migration involves. Why an integration has to be designed for the days it falls over. That is what we bring to the companies that call us today.

  • We operate what we writeOur products run in production. The trade-offs we propose are ones we put up with too.
  • Price and timing in writingScope in black and white. If an assumption changes you hear about it immediately, not at delivery.
  • No lock-inCode, infrastructure and documentation are yours. You have to be able to leave.
  • BrusselsOn site or remote, in French, Dutch or English.

In short

A team that builds its own products and takes on work for others.

05 Frequently asked

What people ask us most

If your question is not here, write to us. You get an answer within one business day.

What does KubeOptix do?

KubeOptix is a software studio based in Brussels. The company builds its own SaaS platforms and takes on work for other businesses: web and mobile applications, cloud and infrastructure, system integration, consultants to reinforce a team, onboarding and training.

Where is KubeOptix based?

In Brussels, Belgium, at Rue Openveld 48, 1082 Berchem-Sainte-Agathe. The company works on site around Brussels and remotely across the rest of Europe.

What languages does KubeOptix work in?

French, Dutch and English. Meetings, documentation and deliverables can be handled in any of those three languages.

What makes KubeOptix different from a normal web agency?

KubeOptix runs its own products in production. Most providers deliver a project and move on to the next one, never living with the consequences of their technical choices over time. Here the architectural decisions are tested on the company's own platforms before being proposed to a client.

Do you work on a day rate or a fixed price?

Both. An engineer can join your team on a day rate for a long placement, or KubeOptix can take a scope at a fixed price with a commitment on the outcome. The contractual setup adapts to your organisation.

Who owns the code at the end of a project?

The client. Source code, infrastructure and documentation are handed over. KubeOptix keeps no dependency that would stop the project being continued elsewhere or by another team.

What is OrdResto?

OrdResto is an online ordering platform for independent restaurants, built and operated by KubeOptix. It combines a branded ordering site, a chatbot on Instagram and WhatsApp, delivery driver management and automated replies to Google reviews. It is live at ordresto.com.

What is Docelya?

Docelya is a patient reception platform for Belgian medical practices, built and operated by KubeOptix. It keeps a practice reachable when the team is already busy: several patients are handled at the same time, appointments land in the practice calendar, arrivals are registered on site. It supports the front desk rather than replacing it, and it makes no diagnosis and no triage. It opens on 5 October 2026 to a limited number of practices.

How does a first contact work?

By email at office@kubeoptix.com, by phone on +32 456 16 93 28, or over WhatsApp. The first conversation pins down the need, the constraints and the budget, then a written proposal follows with the scope, the intended architecture, the phasing and the timing.

Does KubeOptix work with companies outside Belgium?

Yes, remotely across Europe. The company is established in Belgium and invoices in euros with an intra-community VAT number, BE 1005.229.905.
